BSD Hacks by Dru Lavigne is a new "Hacks" series title from O'Reilley. I was asked to contribute a hack on sudoscript. I'm not sure why Dru asked me about this, but since sudoscript is in the FreeBSD ports collection, and since I had written about my experience writing the tool, I suppose that might have prompted her email. In any event, I ruthlessly parlayed her offer into two hacks, one on "Sudo Gotchas," and one on sudoscript. The one on sudo survived nearly intact into the final book, but the one on sudoscript was edited extensively. I must say that every single change was an improvement, and that the result expressed even more clearly what I meant to say. Thanks, Dru!
