Anger Reloaded
Well, it's been years since I posted anything here. What with Iraq, extra-constitutional executives, empty talking heads spewing invective, cynical puppet masters playing with a fiery mixture of mass hypnosis, emotion and ignorance and much else, there is plenty that has me angry these days. So I've decided to fire up this blog and air my feelings on some of these topics. Not that I necessarily have anything new to say, although I don't necessarily lack a novel perspective. But this blog is therapy - Anger Management, for real.
For now I have comments turned off because I just can't deal with comment spam with my current workload. Doing so probably would entail some research, and then lots of follow-on work to keep up in the arms race. I just opt out of the mess. If you want to comment on this stuff, drop me a line to user hbo in the domain egbok.com. I promise to publish complementary or contrary views that aren't abusive in one way or another.
Of course, the presupposes I get readers on this little site. I'm not going to do any promotion, other than pointing people here if topics I've covered come up in other conversations. So it's quite likely the site will languish. Be that as it may, I will get my therapy, and you may, possibly, get entertained or angered or otherwise emotionally manipulated. Or else, maybe, you will get intellectually engaged and will post a cogent response to the above email address and start a conversation. That might motivate me to dive back in to the comment spam fighting movement. Maybe.
That's quite a few maybes. I'll put those aside now and commence spewing my anger on my first subject. It's not the one that pisses me off the most, but it probably is the easiest target. It certainly is the most immediate: Microsoft Word.
